The Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics (ANZCOP) conference series, which has been held every two years in December since 2013, is operated by ANZOS.
The conference was initially instituted to encompass the scope of a number of former meetings: the Australian Optical Society (AOS) conference, the Australian Conference on Optics, Lasers and Spectroscopy (ACOLS), and the Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology (ACOFT). It is now recognised as the primary domestic meeting of the optics and photonics community in Australia and New Zealand.
